yes they messed up big on the last release. a new one will be out by the end of this week according to their plan. meanwhile rollback to the previous version 6.1, meaning copy and paste from the old folder to the new one assuming you have a backup. if no backup was made this is a good opportunity to learn how to do it. let me know if you need instructions. mean while use the auto scan option only,  if you have no back up.

       It is very simple rck just connect the mini usb cable from your tablet to a pc. you will be prompted to allow connection from the tablet just allow it by clicking on the (turn on usb storage) pop up on the tablet, wait a few seconds and a folder will pop up on your computer if your auto run is enable and click on open folder, if not go to my computer and double click on the mostly called removable disk. for the first time back up we are going to copy the entire content, all 18 folders within to somewhere in your computer for example create a folder on your desktop or your documents and name it maxisys or what ever you like, go back to the 18 folders and select all and copy and paste to the folder you just created. this is a 6 to 7 gb of files, its going to take some time,  from this point on as they release new updates the only folder you need to copy is the vehicle folder which is the only one that contains all updates, and hope your not drunk by now. don't put this folder together with the original back up send them somewhere else and date them. is best to do it on every update, if something happens your safe just put back the previous version. its really easier than I make it sound. good luck hope I helped you. instructions on how to change vehicle logos is best by email. but if you look into the vehicle folder on every make you will figure it out in no time but if you need help let me know. good luck.
